Welcome to the Canadian Fuel Consortia
About the Consortia
At the major airports in Canada, all facilities and equipment necessary for the refueling of aircraft at the terminal area are owned by a not-for-profit corporation. The fuel facilities corporation allows any airline that flies to the airport to join the consortium as members. Member airlines will share in the net costs of the corporation, which generally equates to a cost savings to the entire membership. Refueling of non-members is done but at a rate that is higher than member airlines, with the increased cost an offset to the commitments that the members have undertaken.
