Edmonton International Airport — YEG

The fuel facility at Edmonton International Airport consists of a jet fuel storage tank farm, underground jet fuel hydrant system, and gasoline & diesel storage and distribution facilities. In 2009, the airport authority will begin a 3-year terminal development program that will result in 18 new aircraft gates. The jet fuel infrastructure will be expanded in conjunction with this program.

Services at this airport are provided via the airline fuel consortium and include facility administration, into-plane fueling and tank farm management. Jet fuel is delivered into the tank farm via tanker trucks, and is then distributed to each aircraft gate via the hydrant system. Approximately 44,000 flights are fuelled annually at Edmonton — YEG
