Ottawa International Airport — YOW

The fuel facility at Ottawa International Airport is only 10 years old and is currently undergoing expansion to its storage capacity due to increases in jet fuel demand. The facility consists of a jet fuel storage tank farm and gasoline & diesel storage and distribution facilities.

Jet fuel is received via tanker trucks and is stored using four aboveground tanks. Services at this airport are provided via the airline fuel consortium and include facility administration, into-plane fueling via refueling tankers, and tank farm management. Approximately 35,000 flights are fuelled annually at Ottawa — YOW.
